Finding what you want, and buying it

Two separate problems. The first is search, the second is checkout.

Filter by format before subject

Verbal or physical, solo or two dominants, long or short. These four narrow a search far more than
the specific act does, and they are the axes on which people are actually disappointed.

Runtime is a signal

In this genre a long clip usually means more build-up, not more action. If you want the action,
short is often what you want — the opposite of the intuition most buyers bring.

Follow a producer, not a tag

Voice, pacing and register are properties of a person. Buying two or three from the same producer
teaches you more about your own taste than twenty scattered across a category.

Billing

Neutral descriptor via the payment processor, not this site and not the producer. Standard for the
industry, and the reason payment is not direct.

Streaming

The default. The purchase stays with your account and plays in the browser; a downloadable file is
offered per clip at the producer’s discretion and is stated on the clip page.
